Hastelloy C276 has excellent resistance to a wide range of severe corrosive environments, including reducing and oxidizing acids, chlorides, and sulfur-containing atmospheres. It is highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. This alloy performs well at high temperatures, maintaining its mechanical properties and corrosion resistance in both elevated temperature environments and in harsh chemical conditions. Hastelloy C276 is easily weldable and doesn't require post-weld heat treatment, making it suitable for complex fabrication.
